Traffic Impacts
This section of the website will have updates for major closures. Construction will take place in stages, and lane reductions, ramp closures, and occasional full closures may be required. Nighttime lane closures can be expected throughout construction.

Current Closures
July through end of November 2026: Traffic on Highway 427 southbound to Highway 409 eastbound and Highway 409 westbound ramps are both currently in a single lane configuration. This configuration is expected to remain in place until the end of November 2026, at which time both ramps will return to two (2) lane configuration for the winter.
October 13, 2026 to October 16, 2026: Highway 427 southbound to Highway 409 eastbound ramp will be closed nightly from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. Please follow D-15 for access to Highway 409 eastbound.
